One of the modern lines of business processes optimization in Russian companies is the transfer of providing functions to outsourcing. The article deals with the concept of outsourcing the functions of the personnel service. The types of outsourcing in the personnel sphere and the main risks of transfer of HR management functions to outsourcing are analyzed. Development of personnel outsourcing is considered in the context of global trends in the development of network forms of interaction between companies. Key trends in outsourcing of human resources management functions in the digital economy are identified.
