This article presents the results of the study of human capital management processes from the standpoint of unity and opposites of administrative influences of various enterprise management structures on their employees aimed at achieving the set goals. The authors reviewed the specific tasks set before staff, personnel, and human resource management. It is shown that during a comprehensive study of the role of personality at an enterprise, it is necessary to take into account that “staff management” is responsible for legal issues, “personnel management” fulfills administrative functions, and “human resource management” deals with economic issues of an enterprise. Although all these tree directions of administrative activity are independent and cannot be considered from the standpoint of uniformity of their functions, they should take an active part in realization of the main – economic – mission of any company. This approach is especially important for modern knowledge-intensive industries. The article will be of interest to experts in labor economy, as well as staff, personnel, and human resource management.
