Abstract:

Increasing demand for qualified staff in PE and sports, and the changes in the legal regulation of labor relations necessitate the design and development of effective system of staff training that meets the modern requirements of physical education and recreation facilities. Today the issues of the application of professional standards in sports-oriented organizations that affect the regulation of labor relations with employees in the sports and fitness industry, the formation of requirements for the staff qualification and for the development of a list of professional competencies, the creation of individual development plans for staff, are very urgent. The article considers the issues of staff training taking into account the features of the activity of objects of fitness-industry and consumers of a region. We mark out the reasons that necessitating the training of qualified staff. We study the features and the order of the application of the professional standards. The paper shows the analysis of the development of fitness in Orenburg. We assess the development level of professional competencies of experts in the fitness industry by groups of professional competencies. We consider directions of fitness education and on the basis of a professional standard we justify the content of the stages of introduction of a formation system of the qualified staff in fitness industry.
