The relevance for solution of the issue of the increasing of the workforce productivity is shown on the basis of development of the methodological tools that allow to univocally measure and stimulate the growth of workforce productivity. It is shown that measures for workforce productivity used nowadays (in different forms of production of a natural commodity, gross and net products in a unit of the work time by one worker) are not comparable and disparate for different industries and types of the economic activity that does not allow to develop the single method for evaluation and stimuli of its growth. While using the historical approach, the content of the labor process that creates the commodity is specified as the labor that is simultaneously special and general, and forms of the result are disclosed as the quantitative (production of gross and net commodities) and the qualitative (the effect of preservation and the effect of value expansion). Two formulas for measurement of the workforce productivity are obtained as production of the final commodity that is the general measure for the productivity rate and which all other measures are reduced to, i.e. natural commodity production and production of gross and net commodities. The double approach to evaluation of the workforce has allowed to make two formulas for interconnection between dynamics of the workforce productivity and the salary that fix the minimum and the maximum rate of the salary growth at the achieved growth rate of the end commodity production. The practical authenticity of obtained results is shown by the analysis of the dynamics of the workforce productivity and the salary upon the statistic data about the development of the Russian industry in 2005-2013. The suggested method for measurement and stimulation of the workforce productivity growth may be used during the strategical planning and for evaluation of actual results of the company's business.
