Analytical and forecast studies on various problems of economic activity are influenced by changes in the all-Russian classification of economic activities (OKVED). In this regard, it is relevant to determine this relationship and trace the transformation in the system of labour protection management in the development of normative legal acts containing state requirements for labour protection, as well as in the change of statistical data on industrial injuries by type of economic activity for subsequent analysis, forecasting and management decision-making. The effectiveness of the occupational safety management system may be reduced due to unrecorded and incomplete safety requirements or changes in occupational injury statistics. The authors analyzed this relationship on the example of the transport sector. On the basis of official data of Rostrud about industrial injuries with a fatal outcome on transport the forecast with use of principles of modeling and forecasting on the basis of the modern software is made. Based on the results of the research, the authors proposed recommendations for improving the control effects and effectiveness of measures to prevent, prevent and reduce occupational injuries.
