Questions of motivation are always relevant and today is no exception. Of course there are many theories that help in the creation of various motivational models, some of them are still relevant today, and other dies and becomes completely inapplicable. The author of this article proposes to consider motivation from the point of view of psychoanalysis, analyzing the effect of multidirectional vectors of emotional states on the personality. The author's gives his own definition of motivation and shows how this theory can be applied to generations X, Y, and Z, and demonstrates specific tools for creating modern motivational models.
