The article discusses the theoretical and practical aspects of analyzing the effectiveness of the personnel assessment system. Personnel assessment system is an important personnel management subsystem. Objectivity of an assessment and quality of the accepted administrative decisions depends on its efficiency. To date, there is no single method for analyzing the effectiveness of the assessment system. The authors attempted to summarize and describe the factors affecting the effectiveness of the assessment system, the elements of the assessment system, to propose indicators and criteria for analyzing the effectiveness of the assessment system. The method of analysis assumes the possibility of integration with other subsystems of personnel management of the organization. The practical application of this method requires adaptation to the specifics of the organization. It should be noted that the implementation of personnel functions related to personnel assessment is not always carried out in order to obtain immediate economic benefits for the organization. An effective assessment system is designed to conduct a comprehensive analysis based on the consideration of the various elements of the assessment system. This approach can be applied to improve the efficiency of personnel management processes in all phases of labor potential management.
