At the present time, when the consumer market of meat products in Russia does not experience a deficit in the volume and range of products, the quality of meat products is of particular importance. The most important tool for improving the quality of products is to establish the feedback of trade enterprises with the consumer, which collects information about the reaction of the buyer and the degree of his satisfaction from the purchased product. To assess the satisfaction of consumers of meat products presented in the market of the region, an online survey of consumers of Vladivostok was organized. The paper presents the results of a study of consumer awareness about the composition and safety of meat products on the market of Vladivostok. To improve the quality of meat products, it is necessary to create an information space for establishing feedback with consumers. The results of the study characterizing the attitude of consumers to their own participation in the system of quality assessment of meat products are presented.
