At present, we are witnessing a radical transformation of world economic systems. At the same time, not only economic life but also the reality of everyday life are changing significantly. And this, in turn, should inevitably affect the typical patterns of human behavior. Assuming that the basic transformation of everyday forms of economic and human behavior is the introduction of digital technologies into our lives, we jump into conclusion that this may entail, and most likely will entail, the formation of the new type of human behavior, which we propose to call "homo digital" and its competition with other types of economic behavior, described in other models. The article substantiates the need to distinguish "homo digital" as one of the models of economic behavior of a person and considers the possibility of competition between social groups, the behavior of members of which is described by different models. The article can be useful for undergraduates, postgraduates studying "Economic theory", researchers and analysts of social processes.
