Abstract:

The article considers the existing approaches to analytical support for the assessment of Russian scientific organizations’ resources. We systemize the goals and peculiarities of the application of methodologies. We mark out advantages and disadvantages of each approach. We note that most approaches in practice are aimed at assessing the performance of scientific organizations, rather than on assessing their resources. The analysis of methodological support made it possible to determine further ways to improve the system of indicators of resource assessment. The results of the research can be used to develop an integrated approach to assessing resources and are recommended for implementation for scientific organizations and management bodies of the sphere of science.
