Abstract:

The article is devoted to statistical research on the basic indicators of activity of IT organizations. On the basis of the data collected in "Indicators of the Information Society" collection, the author analyzes the development of the IT industry in Russia. We consider the general performance indicators of IT organizations, the structure of IT organizations, the number of employees in the IT industry, as well as the average monthly salary of IT workers in various fields. We also consider " Strategy of Information Technology Industry Development in the Russian Federation for 2014–2020 and until 2025", and we draw conclusions based on the results of this strategy.
