There is a need for leaders almost in all spheres of our society. The article considers the phenomenon of leader in the educational industry by the example of the BABYLON language institute (Almaty, Kazakhstan). Students of the institute are not only subjects, but also objects of the professional activity; the performance results do not depend on profit but mostly on the quality of training and as a result the options for the development of this linguistics center are considerably limited. Using qualitative and quantitative methods we have conducted the research, which has made possible the creation of a model of the dependence of the effectiveness of the educational process on the leadership qualities of the teaching staff of linguistics center. We give recommendations based on the results of the study which will allow many linguistics centers with a small staff, to organize the effective functioning of the educational organization.
