Abstract:

The article considers the problems of staffing dairy subcomplex of agrocultural sector of the Smolensk region. On the base of the economic analysis we identify the dominant factors that determine the level of normalization of agricultural staffing within the industry development strategy. The author notes the relationships between socio-demographic, economic conditions and the level of labour supply of dairy farming region. We propose measures to enhance the staffing of dairy cattle breeding considering an active government support for the industry.
