The article analyses interaction between government, business and science by the example of the Sverdlovsk region. The author stresses that legal features, economic and social situation, the region’s need in qualified personnel have a strong influence on interaction development. Enhancement of this triad cooperation in various areas ensures the effectiveness of infrastructure development of higher education, the use of financial support, administrative experience and business community skills in order to create innovations. All this has a significant impact on socio-economic development of regions and state.
