The conditions and perspectives of meat-processing sub-complex closely connected with agriculture. Nowadays this industry depends on meat supplies by import. At present meat-processing companies extensively realize reconstruction and modernization of their workshops, that makes possible to reach positive results of industry development and to increase volume of output products. The estimation of meat raw meat production, sausage products, tinned meat and semi-finished products is made. Utilization of production facilities on meat-processing enterprises of Kurgan region is analyzed. Problems of meat-processing sub-complex and possibilities of their solving are recognized.
