Abstract:

The author substantiates the necessity to introduce eco-management system at enterprises and identifies environmental aspects. The author pays special attention to the problem of sustainable development, formulates advantages which the company achieves due to the successful functioning of eco-management system. The description of the author’s methods for the assessment of environmental aspects is presented; this methodology is developed for the food industry enterprises which serve as one of the production sites of transnational corporations.
