Abstract:

The authors characterize the transformations that take place in economy and in society, and come to the conclusion, that a new type of man as a consumer is coming into existence. The scientific inventions of the past decades and the immense global technological growth have changed the lifestyle, values and behavior of man. Technologization, informatization, ecologization and other global trends modify the profile of the consumer who is represented by the general term of X-PEOPLE.
