Abstract:

The importance of nanotechnology for modern science is difficult to underestimate. This is a key technology of the XXI century, the progress in which will allow society to significantly transform many spheres of human activity in order to improve the quality, efficiency, environmental friendliness of procedures performed by modern man and mechanisms. The importance of including issues and concepts of nanotechnological sphere in the educational environment of the school and the university is dictated by time. Nowadays, training of future teachers in the field of nanotechnology is becoming topical. The selection of material for the training of students in the field of nanotechnology should be carried out taking into account modern achievements and progress in this field. It is important to include in the training programs the verified up-to-date data and results that will allow intensifying cognitive activity and motivating students to search for new information. This handbook is designed to help university teachers incorporate concepts and phenomena of nanotechnology into their courses, consider devices already using nanotechnological elements in their work, and conduct research and design work with students in the framework of interactive forms of teaching, programming and modeling nanotechnological processes, studies of the properties and structure of nanoobjects.
