The article discusses the issue of the relationship and impact of expenditure on wages and earnings. The object of the study is one of the largest enterprises of the chemical industry – JSC "Nevinnomyssk's nitrogen". The subject of the study is the relationship of labor costs and revenues of JSC "Nevinnomyssk's nitrogen" for the period from 2005 to 2016. Research methods: dynamics analysis, correlation-regression and graphical analysis. The introduction substantiates the relevance of the study and provides a brief overview of several scientific works of the same direction. The main part of the article presents the dynamics of labor costs and revenues of JSC "Nevinnomyssk's nitrogen" for the period from 2005 to 2016. The correlation coefficient between the dynamic data series is calculated. The significance of the correlation coefficient is determined. A linear regression equation is constructed. The characteristic of the coefficients of the linear regression equation is given. Elasticity coefficient and determination coefficient are calculated. In the final part of the article conclusions and generalizations are made. It is offered to continue research and to develop predictive and analytical model of development of the enterprise.
