The article examines methods of assessing effectiveness for HR departments and gives the main diagnostic procedures for evaluating their work. The authors justify the need for a timely and unbiased analysis of the department dealing with human resource management and analyze the main aims and objectives of the HR service which increase its importance during the crisis.
