The article is devoted to e-document flow used in the carriage of goods by sea in line shipping. Readers can familiarize themselves with an analysis of the provisions of international agreements, rules of national legislation and regulations developed by international organizations. In terms of computerization of transport, development of legal regulation of electronic bills of lading and other electronic transport documents is a priority for the transport activity. The absence of common technical standards causes limitation of circulability of electronic bills of lading. The solution of this problem is seen in paying more attention to electronic bills of lading by its detailed legal regulation.
