The article discusses the implementation of the concept of corporate social responsibility on the example of Russia and Germany. This topic has become increasingly discussed in the framework of a modern economy both at the micro without the introduction and implementation of principles of corporate social responsibility is impossible to achieve sustainable development of the company. The paper gives the definition of corporate social responsibility, an attempt to compare approaches to corporate social responsibility in Russia and Germany and their status at present. We give the examples of activities individual major Russian and German companies, reflecting the application of social responsibility. The results of the work are conclusions about the state and development of corporate social responsibility in Russia.
