Abstract:

Strategic alliances are now an integral part of international business cooperation. The success of their operation depends not only on the organizational structure, but also the trust relationship between the partners. The author identifies five advantages for alliances in the case of building trust relationship: the rejection of opportunistic behavior by partners towards each other; optimization of business operations within the alliance; reduction of transaction costs; reduction of conflict in relations between partners; openness in the conduct of research and development.
