Abstract:

The shipbuilding is the strategically important branch of the national economy. However, certain problems created by the length of development, construction and operation cycles of ships and high capital intensity of production could be solved only with the industry transition to the innovative development path supported by technological modernization of the production. The author proposes and describes the methodology of innovations management in shipbuilding. This methodology is primarily based on set of economic, organizational and informational tools. Given the fact that theory and methodology of solving such problems is not deeply developed yet, this work offers the ways to intensify innovations, including the formation and development of innovative potential of both enterprises and the entire shipbuilding industry in general.
