The article advanced an expanded interpretation of the Lean production concept, derived on the basis of the chain of evolution of the principles of scientific organization of work and lean and supplemented by elements of classical and flexible project management. In the proposed interpretation Lean production is considered as a system consisting of three subsystems: management, organization of production, continuous training. As well as the results of an analytical study of the main approaches to lean manufacturing at Russian industrial enterprises. In connection with the study, an algorithm is proposed for the introduction of Lean production in an industrial enterprise, which includes four blocks of conditions that set criteria for determining the development path, which can eliminate possible contradictions in the implementation process and ensure rapid adaptation of the results of Lean production in an industrial enterprise. A comprehensive evaluation of the implemented projects is offered, in which an analysis of the achievement of the set goals is made, taking into account the monitoring of the processes that affect the achievement of these goals, as well as assessing the impact of changes on other key processes of the enterprise. The proposed evaluation system allows you to initially set the objectives of each project, comprehensively evaluate the effectiveness of the completed project within the Lean production system and assess the impact of changes within the project on the key performance indicators of the enterprise: safety, quality, timing, costs, culture.
