Abstract:

In the article it is determined that in addition to the economic effect, it is necessary to take into account other results of technological modernization of enterprises in the economic, social, environmental, scientific and technical spheres. At the same time, the main target of the process of technological modernization is the growth of productivity and innovation activity. Based on this postulate, the author proposes a method of evaluation, in which a comparison of the growth rate of labor productivity and investment in fixed assets allows to assess the quality of investment in modernization and to answer the question whether the costs incurred have given a proportional increase in the degree of automation, efficiency of the organization, technical equipment of labor. The evaluation of the effectiveness of technological modernization was carried out on the example of industries. Visualization of the evaluation results is presented on two-dimensional matrices "innovation-adaptability", reflecting the main directions of the effectiveness of technological modernization. Conclusions are drawn concerning the importance of measures of state support for the growth of the technical level of industry.
