Abstract:

The issues of strengthening of financial stability in insurance companies in the context of global economic security are explored in the article. The essence of financial stability and the existing problems on ensuring financial stability in insurance companies are analyzed with this purpose. The problems of strengthening of financial stability of insurance organizations in the context of transformation of world economic processes, financial system and world insurance market are considered in detail. The questions of optimality of formation of the balanced insurance portfolio of the insurance company are investigated. The processes of formation of insurance companies and development of insurance activity in Azerbaijan in the modern period are considered. The activity of insurance organizations of Azerbaijan, the share of certain insurance companies in the insurance market of the country and the dynamics of the aggregate capital of insurance companies of Azerbaijan for 2005-2017 are analyzed. The number of insurance contracts in Azerbaijan for 2005-2016 and dynamics of indicators of the total amount of dynamics of insurance payments in Azerbaijan for 2005-2017 are considered. The conclusions and recommendations on these problems are drawn and made at the end of the article.
