Abstract:

The article deals with foreign economic relations of Stavropol region with the CIS countries. The structure of exported and imported products for the countries-partners. The leaders in the foreign trade of Stavropol territory are established: in export – Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Belarus, in import – Belarus and Ukraine. The commodity structure of export and import operations with the CIS countries has been analyzed. The problems and threats affecting the relations between the region and the contracting states are revealed and the ways of their solution are proposed.
