Abstract:

The article deals with the main trends of geo-economic and geopolitical processes in the Central Asia region of the post-Soviet area. The geo-economic and geopolitical importance of the Central Asia region is defined and geopolitical interests in the region of the world's leading economies and world political players are revealed. An assessment of the economic potential and domestic political situation in the Central Asian states, identified potential threats and emerging sustainable trends. The promotion of Russia's interests in the region and the nature of cooperation with Post-Soviet states are actualized.
