Abstract:

The article considers the essence of economic security as the central link in the system of national security, theoretical views of scientists – economists of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on this problem, analyzes the spatial and geographical levels of economic security, identifies threats that violate security and proposes measures to protect the economic interests of the country.
