Abstract:

The role and functions of innovations in the formation of "growth points" in the regions are considered in the article. Trends in the territorial distribution of innovations in the regions of the Volga Federal District and municipalities of the Republic of Bashkortostan have been revealed. Proposals are formulated to increase the level of innovative self-sufficiency of the country and its regions, measures to stop threats for the implementation of their technological breakthrough are suggested. The proposal for the creation of innovation management companies is substantiated, which will allow us to put together the interests of science and business in accelerating the introduction of the achievements of Russian science. The quality of economic, its high rate, due to innovation growth, as one of the main criteria for assessing the effectiveness of government at all levels of economic management is proposed. Initiatives on the ground are recognized as the important condition for reformatting the economy on the basis of the latest technologies based on the results of Russian science.
