Abstract:

Nowadays the regional differentiation in the creativity level is evident in the Russian economy. Its highest level is registered in Moscow and St Petersburg, where the specialists of the highest qualification are mainly concentrated. In statistics, there is no comprehensive study of creativity level of Russian regions, which is already being done in other countries in order to analyze the problems of development of the creative economy. The author has analyzed the attractiveness of Russian regions for the creative class, a corresponding rating is drawn up, and also some of the constraints of the creative class development in the regions are singled out.
