Abstract:

The article deals with the common problems of vulnerable segments of the population: youth, parents with young children, disabled (persons with disabilities), as well as elderly people in the process of employment, on the example of the Ulyanovsk region; the main economic consequences of youth unemployment; the analysis of the creation of new jobs in enterprises of various industries in the Ulyanovsk region. The ways of solving this problem are as follows: creation of new jobs in the region, consideration of the wage system, control by the administration for the implementation of plans which can give benefits to the Ulyanovsk region. The solution of tasks for the forthcoming period for employment of disabled people (persons with disabilities) in existing workplaces in the Ulyanovsk region, as well as the creation of new jobs for them within the state program of the Ulyanovsk region "Social support and protection of the population of the Ulyanovsk region" for 2014-2020 is proposed.
