Abstract:

Innovation of economic development is defined by a complex of social and economic criteria, among which the most significant are the condition of technical and technological bases of the industrial system and the one of its infrastructural elements. «The distinctive feature of the innovative economy, – the author notes, – is the global distribution of information systems, resourcesaving technologies, computer networks and the presence of a favourable environment for the expansion of innovative interaction mechanisms on a scale of the national economic system». The article has the purpose to popularize the ideas of innovative economic development and is meant for all the readers of the magazine.
