The article considers the current issues faced by most modern economies such as inflation rates, poverty, and unemployment. In particular, we analyze the dynamics of the Azerbaijan’s Consumer Price Index and changes in the level of poverty and unemployment rates over the past two decades. The database for the study serves statistical sampling, compiled mainly on the basis of the economic indicators provided by the Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the World Bank. We also consider a set of measures aimed at improving the socio-economic situation and achieving socially inclusive sustainable economic growth in Azerbaijan.
