Abstract:

Before talking about the psychological aspects of deviation, it is necessary to clarify the subject of discussion. There is victimism as a systemic and dynamic property of a person, a certain predisposition to become a victim. Fixed behavioral patterns increase the risk of victimization as a process - here the victim predisposition and external adverse factors converge. Considering the issues of victimization and deviation, we note that today a great deal of attention is paid to the identification of factors contributing to the transformation of a person into a victim.

Highlights:

•May be it is time for the subject to start being responsible for his life and personal development?
•The healthy personality of the non-victim type does not ask for "saving" it, filling the emotional emptiness, creating the ideal conditions for existence
•In Russian society, the cult of sacrifice flourishes as a manifestation of love, which entails codependency
