Abstract:

The article analyzes separate indicators that describe the status of social and economic security of the regions of the Privolzhsky federal district for the period of 2006-2016. The aim of the work is to study the interrelations between the achieved level of regional development and the state of social and economic security of the regions. Based on the data received, we assess the mechanism of social and economic security of the Privolzhsky Federal District and develop appropriate recommendations aimed at improving regional social and economic security. During the research on the achieved level of social and economic security of the regions, we used methods of indicative, statistical, system analysis, as well as an integrated approach that summarizes the main provisions and characteristics of the regional socio-economic security mechanism.
