Abstract:

The article considers possibility of using the biofeedback method in education research. In this paper we’ve obtained an objective evaluation of the characteristics of mental state from the cardiorhythmogram data in real time which was used for the rapid study of the current psychological state of students on psychophysiological traits. We study the effect from the impact of active teaching methods and teaching materials on students’ state of mind. Quantitative values of the characteristics of the current mental state of the subject are the results of the research. A series of studies showed that the application of the method “Assessment of the current psychological state” is effective both from the point of view of obtaining up-to-date information on the status of students for improving the educational parameters, approbation of various types of training materials, and to study the issues of motivating students, their emotional state during training.


Highlights:

• Neurobiology helps to implement the educational process and evaluate its effectiveness
• To achieve optimal results of the educational process, we need to alternate the presentation of the raining material in text and graphic form, interactive or illustrated presentations cannot be considered as an alternative to the study of educational texts
• Further research using biofeedback methods will help to answer questions important for the successful solution of the problems of the educational process.
