Abstract:

One of the problems of Russia’s lag behind the foreign countries in innovative development is the quality of public administration of this area. This includes strategic planning and forecasting of innovative development at the federal and regional levels. The aim of the study is to analyze the current strategic documents of innovative development in the regions of Russia in terms of targets, structural content and methodological approaches to the choice of forecast parameters. Based on the results of the analysis, the authors give recommendations on the development of strategies for innovative development of the region.
