Abstract:

The current status of trade is largely determined by the development of the regional retail of the Russian Federation. In its turn, it reflects development trends, both macroeconomics and microeconomics in the country. The article analyzes dynamics of key indicators of trade development, including retail trade turnover, its structure, and consumer price index. The authors present the assessment of business activity, as well as the current status of the industry. We also assess the impact of the revealed trends on the change of a conjuncture of the consumer market in regions.
