The article is devoted to the study of the technology transfer in trade, which in recent years has been actively developing and provides good economic results to large organizations of the industry. The study identified the content and the main stages of technology transfer, which are fair in the implementation of any activities, including trade. It is revealed that there are significant unrealized opportunities for further development of technology transfer in the organizations of the industry, since the main stages of transfer-technological activities are not observed, a narrow range of possible technological products (mainly limited by franchises) is proposed, integration with other organizations in relation to this activity is insufficiently developed, low involvement in programs to support technological development is noted. According to the results of the study, the authors have made proposals that will improve the organizational structure, formalize processes and generate additional cash flows from the use of technology transfer in trade. It is proposed to identify and evaluate intangible assets involved in new technologies; to ensure the formation of the technological data Bank, including as part of the integration associations of organizations, clusters; to improve the management of the process of transfer and technological activities in compliance with all its stages; actively participate in domestic and international programs to support technological development.
