The article considers the logic the students-entrepreneurs follow when they act and make decisions at the university the goal of which is related to the development, in particular, of the entrepreneurial direction. For the study we use the case-study method. We consider a multiple case involving three cases of students-entrepreneurs from the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) in Vladivostok. Data for describing the context of the study were obtained from news and documents that are publicly available on the FEFU official website. Data for case analysis were collected using semi-structured interviews conducted in May 2017. Based on the analysis of collected materials, we conclude that business students tend to follow the effectual logic of decision-making. In the cases examined, this logic is most clearly manifested in the application of resource-oriented approach and the principle of "a bird in the hand".
