In the context of globalization, the processes of integration of companies are of particular importance. Today, talking about the competitiveness of the integrated structure becomes increasingly important, not only the unification of the material assets of the companies and optimization of property complex, but the increment and competency development of the integrated company. Identification and management of competencies is especially important for business structures that carry out integration processes. Competencies of one company may be more developed, and competencies of the other can be fundamentally different, or the companies may have a similar competencies of one level of development. The purpose of this article is the author's attempt to clarify and develop the structure of organizational competence, i.e. grouping individual competencies of the organization in certain blocks, based on their commonality. This problem is relevant in view of the need to systematize and streamline competencies in order to better identify them and develop a set of measures for their management. On the basis of the proposed assumptions and analysis of theoretical sources the author has formed a model characterizing the expected impact of competencies on the success of the companies integration. After analyzing the data obtained, the author divided organizational competencies into five main groups and gave an empirical assessment of the impact of competencies on the market success of the integration of business structures. The author proves that the success of the integration of business structures is essentially determined by the formation and development of the company's competencies.
