Abstract:

This article focuses on institutional developmental framework of power systems of the CIS countries. We pay special attention to retrospective aspects and description of the Soviet power system. We consider the current situation within the framework of integration processes in the CIS and EAEU, in particular in electric power industry in the sphere of creation and full-fledged functioning of the common electric power market. We also take into account inner political factors behind difficulties in consolidating external courses.
