Tikhonova Anna Dmitrievna – (The Ural State University of Economics (USUE))
The article considers the urgency of study of what exactly affects the qualitative assessment of universities by stakeholders and what could affect their desire for interaction. The author has conducted a survey, built as a multi-level system, based on the collection of data from students and graduates of educational institutions providing higher education, applicants entrants, heads of industrial enterprises and other potential employers of university graduates. On the basis of the obtained data we conduct an analytical study on the various areas of the linkage between higher education, society and the labor market, which made it possible to analyze the attitude of the society and the industrial sector to interactions with higher education. The author tests the hypothesis that the lack of practical knowledge, skills and necessary competencies is a problem of university graduates. We conclude that in order to further improve the efficiency, the logic of the functioning of the university should eventually evolve, generating new models that allow the educational organization to reach a successful development trajectory.
