Abstract:

Engineering is the most important industrial sector, which supports innovative development of enterprises of national economy. However, engineering also needs innovations. Obsolete basic production assets (BPA), insufficient funding, high competition in the domestic and foreign markets, and shortage of qualified staff limit development opportunities of the enterprises of mechanical engineering. The shortcomings of the assessment methodology and analysis of innovation susceptibility, flexibility and adaptability to new innovations and market requirements, system control of BPA process updates, intellectual potential of employees significantly impede acceleration of innovative development of engineering. The method for honest assessment of the status and dynamics of innovative development has been tested on the materials of the group of machine-building enterprises of Moscow and Moscow region.
