Abstract:

The article studies the specific characteristics of entrepreneurial thinking, the development of which should become the prerogative of Russian education at the present stage. This is particularly true for core universities, entrepreneurial in their nature. We describe the program for development of entrepreneurial thinking, implemented at Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU), which is the largest technical university in the Novosibirsk region. In 2017 NSTU became one of the winners of the second stage of the Program for the Development of Core Universities that are of key importance for the industrial and socio-economic development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.


Highlights:

•Modernization of Russia "slips" due to unprepared consciousness of Russians for implementation of reforms
•Necessary competencies for the development of the economy comes into being when functioning of entrepreneurial thinking
•Sphere of education, and in particular, the core regional universities should face social stratification, which is the main problem of Russia
•Core Novosibirsk State Technical University is a platform for development of the activity vector of thinking and entrepreneurial qualities among the youth of the region
•Creation of association banks related to entrepreneurship among students and schoolchildren is a prerogative of the Department of Marketing and Service of the Business Faculty of NSTU
