For staffing support of the modernization of the region's economy, we need an adaptive education system that is able to respond to labor market request. The development of a methodology for identifying high demand occupations in regional economy for the medium and long term and methodology for creation of a cluster of professional competencies is considered as a possible way to improve the quality of vocational education, to ensure the structural compliance of professional training to the requirements of regional and local labor markets and the effective use of the resources of vocational education system. The authors suggest the methodology for identifying high demand occupations in regional economy on the basis of statistics of Web search queries and the methodology for positioning the results in the matrix "level scale - the dynamics level the of demand for skills". On the basis of the comparative analysis of labor functions of professional standards and lists of professional competencies of Federal State Educational Standards for Higher Education we determine the competence clusters of popular professions. That provides the basis for the subsequent optimization of the areas of training of professional staff. In the article we use analytical methods of research, criteria analysis, scientific publications of domestic and foreign scientists on this issue. The results of the research will make it possible to make a list of demanded and promising occupations for the high-tech sector of the economy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and to optimize the form of expert training and training levels.
