Abstract:

The share of unprofitable enterprises of water transport is about 40% of the total share. There are many reasons for that phenomenon; however, especially significant is the stereotype which states that “the transport industry is notoriously unprofitable and is subsidized by the State”. In this regard, employees of the transport sector work hoping for inter-budgetary transfers and they can’t keep up with hyper pro-competitive imperative model of the world. The issue of transport as a commercial entity has been brought up recently, since the efficiency of the shipping company in addition to profitability has a very large number of criteria, including mobility of population and accessibility, transport and overcoming discrimination. The key achievement indicators are listed in the "Transport strategy of the Russian Federation for the period till 2030". To manage base indicators, and to further effectively integrate available resources in the transport process of the shipping companies we’ve analyzed and revealed productive factor and signs. We also identified form of communication and the dependence between them. We created regression model of dependence on the basis of related factors.

Highlights:

turnover, quantity of the shipment, the transshipment volume of investment, the degree of wear of fixed assets, net financial result
