Abstract:

The article is devoted to the relevant issues for the improvement of the company's activities on the basis of business process modeling. We point out the key trends in process management at enterprises, describe methods for optimizing various production and economic systems and also describe the methodology for optimizing business processes. We suggest an approach to optimization of business processes of the enterprise through methods of processes reengineering and mathematical modeling tools. The implementation of the proposed approach will make it possible to decide to change the structure of the decomposed production process; that leads to shortening the duration of a process and lowering the cost and, as a consequence, to lowering the cost of product. Regression and correlation analysis will make it possible to identify a correlation between output indicators at various work centers and a financial result for the same period. Implementation of the proposed approach will allow forming a structure with transparent management mechanisms and increasing company’s manageability at all levels, from strategic to operational.
